Program related to the Collection Exhibition 2023-II "Collection Relations [Guest Artists: Komori Haruka + Seo Natsumi ].” The video work 11 Questions for You Who Once Were 11 (2022-23) (63 min.) will be screened and a reading workshop will be held. In 11 Questions for You Who Once Were 11, artists asked people in Miyagi Prefecture, ranging in age from 11 to their 90s, about what was memorable about being 11 years old, life opportunities, and what they felt was important. In the reading workshop, participants will read aloud from a booklet placed in the exhibition venue, in which they will listen to various generations' memories of being 11 years old, and talk with each other about what they felt and wondered about, and conduct brief interviews. You may attend only the screening.
