As a related event of "Dokokade? Genbi Video Art Project: Haruka Komori + Natsumi Seo," we screen their latest film, "Double layered town / Making a song to replace our positions" (2019, 79 min) and conduct their artist's talk.
"Double layered town" is a story created by Seo on the lives of people living in 2031, imagining the town that existed there before. The film depicts four young actors gathered in Rikuzentakata for the workshop. They read the story and try to imagine the place's past, current, and future using their words and bodies. Komori filmed the process of the workshop and created the film.
